Cedar Cookie Table

A handmade table built around a thick cedar cookie first prepared for exhibition.
This cedar cookie was first prepared as one of twenty-three uncommon pieces of wood for Other Wood Pieces at the Cooper Union. Returned to the workshop after the exhibition, it became a handmade table.
Three walnut legs meet the irregular perimeter directly, holding the thick cross-section in place while leaving its growth rings, split, holes and live edge fully visible.
