Design + Make Induction Studio project - reimagining a traditional lattice truss bridge as an operable unit capable of controlled deformation.
Along with a number of small physical tests, Grasshopper and Rhino were used to generate the fabrication information for its various components. The standard scissor unit becomes flexible with the addition of slotted scissor joints. Complete documentation of the investigation into scissor structures is available in the project portfolio.
